Ha I knew the issue would be related to STEM designation for work visas. There has been some chat at closing this STEM extension. My guess it will remain under a Harris term, but could be threatened under a Trump admin (though he has gone back and forth on student visa stuff). If it does go away, then these programs likely won't make as much sense.
